Making Briquettes

This project is aimed at producing briquettes as a sustainable fuel source. Briquettes are compacted blocks or logs made from various organic materials, such as biomass waste, charcoal dust, sawdust, or paper. The project involves collecting, processing, and compressing these materials to create briquettes that can be used as an alternative to traditional fuels like wood or coal.

Our objective as Kkona Women is to promote sustainable energy practices by utilizing waste materials and reducing the dependence on non-renewable resources. It can also address environmental concerns related to the improper disposal of organic waste, such as agricultural residues or sawdust.
